U.S. Figure Skating joins the fight against cancer

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (October 13, 2009) - U.S. Figure Skating and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) will host a media teleconference on Wednesday, October 14 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time (1:30 p.m. Central, 12:30 p.m. Mountain, 11:30 a.m. Pacific) to announce a partnership in the fight against cancer and the sponsorship of 2009 Skate America, Nov. 12-15 in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Presenting on the call will be U.S. Figure Skating president, Patricia St. Peter, ASCO chief executive officer Allen Lichter, M.D. and U.S. Figure Skating executive director David Raith.
